Dutch producer Julian Fijma has spent the last two years turning heads across the underground — and 2025 was the year it all clicked. His record "Get Stupid" is built around a flipped rap vocal, a driving organ bassline, and a groove too locked-in to ignore. It topped the Beatport Minimal/Deep Tech chart and went on to become the best-selling track in the genre on the platform all year.
Drawing from across genres, Fijma's signature sound runs on heavy basslines, sharp synth work, and drums that move a room without forcing it. That balance — functional but feeling — has earned him support from Michael Bibi, Chris Stussy, Enzo Siragusa and Marco Carola. Releases on Eastenderz, East End Dubs' own label, cemented his reputation in the underground.
Catch him at Village Studios, September 19.
