Blueprint announced today that the company has partnered with Generate, a popular creative network app that enables users to create and share their own projection-ready videos and digital artworks.
Blueprint will be showcasing the app at this year’s FVDED in the Park, and will be running a contest for attendees that download and use the Generate app at the event. Those who use the app will automatically be entered into a contest with the chance to win passes to Contact Festival 2016 at BC Place – they will be rewarded for the individuality and creativity with one winner being chosen each day.
“We go way back with the Hybridity guys in the music scene, and have done some cool activations with Generate the last couple of years,” says Alvaro Prol, Co-Founder of Blueprint. “We have immense respect for what Malcolm Levy has built in music and creative cultures, and we are thrilled to be involved in this leading edge creative technology.”
The elevated level of video production installed in this app results in one-of-a-kind pieces of digital art that can be shared across social media platforms – a revolutionary step in experiential apps.
“Blueprint has been a long standing partner, and we are excited to offer an app that provides users the ability to create incomparable digital art,” says Generate Founder, Malcolm Levy. “Users of the app will instantly recognize that this is an extremely unique experience – allowing users to integrate multiple filters and effects at one time to create their own customized audio-visual content.”
Generate will have multiple activations on site throughout the weekend. A #FVDED x Generate photo booth will appear backstage, with celebrated photographer Kris Krug capturing all the action and they will provide visuals during Vancouver DJ, Ekali’s set.
FVDED in the Park is setting up to be the hot-ticket festival of the summer. The all ages event, happening in Surrey’s Holland Park on July 2nd and 3rd is nearly sold out.
