Another amazing year has come and gone for our Blueprint family and you know what that means – #BP18YR. Over the years it has become a Thanksgiving tradition for us to gather with everyone who shares our love and passion for great music and celebrate our anniversary. With the range and breadth you have come to expect from Blueprint our anniversaries have showcased some of dance music’s best: no less than a year ago we brought the almighty Above & Beyond for trance fans, and BP16YR featured duo mayhem with W&W, Nervo, and Adventure Club. This year we are pulling out all the stops and bringing in Alesso for a special headlining set and a little birthday support from the likes of Audien, Project46 and MATOMA. Tickets to #BP18YR are on sale now and festivities go down Saturday October 10th at the Pacific Coliseum for the Thanksgiving Long Weekend;
Nothing short of a prodigy, Alesso has risen from a self-trained bedroom producer to one of the most highly decorated DJs in the world in just four years. March 2012 marked Alesso’s first release, a collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso entitled Calling (Lose My Mind), unsurprisingly the track captured dancefloors around the world. With every release since his debut Alesso has only proven his production prowess: Years , Heroes (We Could Be), and Cool have all been staggering successes. Every time Alesso takes the stage he it’s a sight to behold, #BP18YR will be no different.
Last year this twenty three year old producer was nominated for a Grammy, best remix for his work on Bastille’s Pompeii. Whether you are a fan of his melodic Anjunabeat releases, or his festival floor fillers gracing Spinnin’ Records, Audien is synonymous with impeccable productions and a great live show.
Rising Canadian global superstars Project 46 have a very simple goal—don’t take things too seriously and enjoy the end product. If leave their set at #BP18YR happier than you were prior to experiencing their music they believe they have done their job. For a taste of what to expect at #BP18YR catch their debut album Beautiful.
For a taste of something truly original make sure you show up early to catch MATOMA spinning them tropical and deep cuts. Infusing urban vocals with a laidback vibe, MATOMA radiates positive vibes. Catch his mix of Notorious B.I.G’s Old Thing Back and prepare for a dose of chill feels.
#BP18YR is set to take over the Pacific Coliseum on Saturday October 10th. Don’t sleep on this one, grab your tickets today, as tier one tickets are now already sold out.
