4 Reasons To Catch CAZZETTE Tonight

4 Reasons To Catch CAZZETTE Tonight

After a stroke of luck brought Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer together with Avicii’s visionary manager in late 2011 the duo were instantly tasked with their first high profile official release, a remix of Avicii’s Sweet Dreams. By the time the duo was hard at work on their second remix it seemed fame was eminent—and Cazzette was born.

Recently Cazzette blasted BC with a headlining set at Center of Gravity and a thundering hour long onslaught at September’s Life in Color, however, this evening – they are momentarily leaving the festival crowds behind to play an intimate club show at The Caprice alongside fellow duo Mako in L.E.D. Bar.  Walking the line between electro house and dubstep, Cazzette’s unique style easily creates four very strong reasons to start your weekend TONIGHT:

1. Stylistically Quirky & Accessible

Regardless of your musical preference Cazzette’s vast array of remixes offer something for everyone. Adele vs. Cazzette Set Fire to the Rain presents listeners with the perfect blend of haunting vocals and stiff rolling bass line; while the duo’s trap remix of Tim Berg’s Alcholic is a festival beast. Continuing to pump out top notch remixes on a regular basis Cazzette has also covered Bruno Mar’s “Locked Out Of Heaven”, Kanye & Jay-Z’s “Ni**as in Paris”, the Killer’s “Shot at Night” and Katy Perry’s “Roar”.

2. Their Eject LP Proves Cazzette is On The Edge of Stardom & Willing To Evolve

Cazzette released Eject in three free installments exclusively on Spotify. Through these means the duo kept their fans involved throughout the entire production process constantly weighing fan favorites and constructive criticism before delving into producing parts two and three. This January Cazzette signed with Island Def Jam for the official release of the complete Eject LP. Needless to say, whatever comes next for the duo they are sure to be propelled into the stratosphere by the sheer power of Def Jam’s marketing prowess.

3. The Freedom Of A Fluid Artistic Vision

Where did Cazzette get their name? When Alexander and Sebastian first met their manger they had the tough task of picking a musical direction. After confessing a love for all genres they suggested creating a mixed tape of their favourite tracks to help sort things out. Immediately the wheels started turning and the classic cassette mixtape provided the inspiration for Cazzette. The perfect embodiment of their mutual desire to maintain musical freedom.

4. BONUS: 2 Shows. 2 Rooms. 1 Event.

Tonight when Cazzette levels Caprice, L.E.D. Bar is set to feature the musical styling of classically trained Juilliard graduate Alex and aspiring dance music junkie Logan. Known as Mako, the duo’s first label release, Into the Light, reached number three on the Beatport Top 100 in just a week and sat in the top five for over two weeks. With two shows for the price of one, it is impossible to go wrong this evening!

Tickets are still available to this power house duo double header—grab yours before they disappear at doors this evening!
