The budget retailer partners with digi-print master Peter Pilotto for a fun explosion of colour and graphics in a budget-conscious collection.
February 9th just got a whole lot more colourful—thanks to London-based hot brand-to-watch Peter Pilotto and mass retailer Target—who, with their first ever collaboration, brings a new meaning to Sunday Funday. Already known for their complex digital print mash-ups (Anna Dello Russo is a fan), the young designer duo of Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos now bring their signature upbeat and ultra cool prints to a wider audience via affordable price points à la Target.
Say the designers, “Our brand is about print, yes, but it’s also about the emotional feeling you can get from colour and colour combinations.” True to form, the collection boasts colourful kaleidoscope-esque floral and geometric combos splattered over sunglasses, slip-on sneakers, jackets, pleated minis and more, all ranging between $14.99 and $79.99.
The collection, sure to be spread across every fashion blog like sartorial fire, is slated to drop February 9th at Target stores across the nation. Don’t live anywhere close to a Target store? Praise the fashion gods for bestowing upon you the gift of luxury e-tailer Net-A-Porter, who have partnered with Target to offer the collection for purchase online (www.net-a-porter.com).
