Picture this: It’s Thursday night and you’re stepping off the skytrain with a crew of friends; you’re all dressed to the nines. Collectively, you make your way to Science World at the TELUS World of Science. Upon entering, you’re met with 25 unique beverage stations helmed by award-winning bartenders from local hotspots such as Hawksworth and The Diamond.
Alongside the cocktail stations, delicious appetizers are also being served by Railtown Catering and guess what? All of the cocktails and canapés you enjoy that night are complimentary with your ticket cost! Bragging rights and prizes to be won, all in the name of charity.
The Science of Cocktails event will be taking place on February 4th at Science World and all the ticket proceeds from the event will go towards providing kids from underfunded schools free access to Science World through their Class Field Trip Program.
Each station at Science of Cocktails will also employ some sort of scientific element to their demonstrations. From vacuum infusions, to nitrogen cooling techniques, and camomile smokers, prepare to learn about the science of mixology as you enjoy your beverages.
Tickets for the event start $145 and include everything from the cocktails to the canapés and can be purchased on the Science World website.
