Colony Entertainment District to Open This Spring

Blueprint is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of Colony Entertainment District, Colony’s 4th location, on the lively Granville strip this Spring 2019. Following the success of Colony Northwoods recent opening in North Vancouver, Colony Entertainment District will open in the heart of the city at 967 Granville Street in the former Caprice Nightclub.

“We are thrilled to open Colony Entertainment District in a location that has been an integral part of Blueprint’s history for more than a decade,” says Bill Kerasiotis, Principal at Blueprint. “The Granville entertainment scene is changing and we’re very excited to have Colony be a part of this new era.”

With the renewal and revitalization of Granville Street on the horizon, Colony Entertainment District will diversify the street and add a lively new location for music, food and drink lovers, sports fans and gaming enthusiasts to enjoy.

“We couldn’t be happier that Colony is coming to Granville. This new concept will cater to the changing demographic on Granville Street, which now includes more young professionals like the 700 Deloitte staff members working out of Spaces, the recently completed co-working office,” says Charles Gauthier, President and CEO of the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association. “Colony will contribute to the transformation of the Granville Entertainment District into a vibrant destination, and we look forward to welcoming them to the downtown core.”

Colony Entertainment District will be downtown Vancouver’s newest spot for quality food, great cocktails and a wide selection of local B.C. craft beers. Colony Entertainment District has 15 big screen TVs, making it the perfect place for sports fans to watch a variety of matches: Colony will screen everything from North American major sports, to international soccer, rugby and pay per-view events. The 15,000 sq. foot space will also house a full arcade section, including a solid mix of pool, foosball and shuffle board, which have been provided by retro arcade game enthusiast Kyle Sellers of East Van Amusements. Also, in a first for Vancouver, the venue will showcase a custom-made indoor bocce court and a weekly league night.

Colony Entertainment District looks forward to welcoming guests to keep good company.
