College Park, Georgia-based rapper Gunna became interested in music and rapping as a hobby in his early teens, but got more serious about the possibility of a career in hip-hop around 2016, when he was introduced to Atlanta MC Young Thug by a mutual friend. The two developed a friendship, and before long Gunna was in the studio hopping on Young Thug’s track “Floyd Mayweather,” where he lent a verse alongside rap superstars Gucci Mane and Travis Scott. That feature was enough to jettison Gunna into relative fame, and he was soon signed to Young Thug’s YSL imprint. By late 2016, he’d released the Drip Season mixtape and followed it with Drip Season 2 in the summer of 2017, while working toward a full-length with producers Brick Beats and Playmakers’ Turbo, among others. Third mixtape Drip Season 3 appeared in 2018, featuring guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, and others.

Making waves by collaborating with artists such as 2 Chainz, Young Thug, and Drake, London on Da Track (real name London Holmes) is an American hip-hop producer and rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Holmes’ foray into the world of rap and hip-hop began at the age of 16 when he joined a rap crew called Dem Guyz and developed his writing and composition skills by playing piano at his local church. Creating his own beats, he began putting together tracks for other rappers on the scene, including “Pieon” by rap group Rich Kidz. 2011 saw the release of his first track with Young Thug entitled “Curtains”; the first of many collaborations with the fellow Georgian rapper. London’s prolific output of material continued throughout 2012 and 2013, as he worked with the likes of Waka Flocka Flame, Gucci Mane, and Rich Homie Quan before signing a deal with Cash Money Records. He swiftly went on to earn production and writing credits on releases from prominent artists such as Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and Drake. 2017 saw London on Da Track put together his own label, L.I.V. (an abbreviation of “living in volumes”) while his debut release as a solo artist, Who Would’ve Known, saw release later that year.
