Shapeshifters CFCF and Doss are taking over @fortunesound Saturday, Nov 7th for one very hedonistic double headliner.

LA-via-Montreal producer CFCF has spent 15 years hopping from balearic disco to kitschy drum’n’bass to the dizzying alt-electronica of Memoryland. Now he’s back with L.U.V., out June 2026, serving glitzy dancepop and electroclash with features from EQ, Touching Ice, TECHG1RLS and Cecile Believe. Expect a high-energy DJ set with an emphasis on heady, hedonistic fun.

Texas-raised, NYC-based Doss has been the underground’s best-kept not-so-secret for a decade. Manic drums, vocal contortions, blustery ambient, shoegaze, all under one slogan: “It’s the music.” She’s remixed Lady Gaga, Caroline Polachek, AG Cook and Eartheater, toured with SOPHIE, Polachek and Yves Tumor, and just dropped her stark, thumping take on Uffie’s “Drugs.” Playful early-2000s maximalism, zero rules.

Purity rRing are coming to Fortune Sound on January 15th, 2027 for a DJ set of dreamy, otherworldly electronic pop.

Edmonton duo Megan James and Corin Roddick have spent over a decade building a world all their own, from the Pitchfork Best New Music-honored, Polaris-shortlisted debut Shrines to the RIAA Gold-certified “Fineshrine.” Now they’re back with their self-titled, self-released fourth album, a concept record that doubles as the soundtrack to an imagined RPG. Inspired by Nier: Automata and Final Fantasy X, expect vintage digital synths, classical guitar, pan flutes, breakbeats and haunted vocoders, with James’s vocals tumbling through a joyous, dizzying stream of consciousness.

Beverly Glenn-Copeland returns to the stage for _40 Years of Keyboard Fantasies_ — a retrospective evening spanning five decades of music that defies every category it touches. Classically trained, spiritually rooted, and utterly singular, Glenn-Copeland's work moves between folk, electronic, ambient, jazz, and children's storytelling without ever losing itself. His 1986 cassette _Keyboard Fantasies_, once a hidden artifact of rural Ontario, was rediscovered by a new generation, earned the Polaris Heritage Prize, and influenced artists from Bon Iver to Blood Orange. The evening also draws from his luminous new album _Laughter in Summer_ — a deeply personal collaboration with longtime creative and life partner Elizabeth Copeland, tracing love, memory, grief, and grace with extraordinary tenderness. Joined onstage by Elizabeth Copeland and musical director Alex Samaras, catch him live at the Vogue Theatre on February 28, 2027. All ages.
